For first time patients - Welcome! This Acupuncture Session is your first step on your acupuncture healing journey. Up to 90 minutes in length, this session allows time to go through a detailed health assessment - head to toe - and to discuss your main concerns and health goals. This discussion is then followed up by a full acupuncture treatment.

Acupuncture Follow-Up Session

For returning patients - Welcome back! This Acupuncture Session is for those who have completed the Acupuncture Initial Consultation and already have a treatment protocol. These sessions continue to work on your current protocol, as well as addressing any new issues that may pop up!

Modalities

The following modalities may be used in conjunction with acupuncture to enhance health and wellbeing. Each acupuncture session is customized to cater to individual health needs, and the use of modalities may vary.

*No additional charge

Cupping Therapy

Suction Healing

Cupping therapy involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, promoting blood flow, reducing inflammation, and aiding in relaxation. It is known to alleviate muscle tension and improve overall circulation.

Acupuncture Therapy Session

Tuina Massage

Hands on therapy

A form of traditional Chinese therapeutic massage, Tuina uses various techniques such as pushing, kneading and acupressure to help balance the Qi (energy) of the body and to encourage the muscles and connective tissues to relax.

Electro -Acupuncture

Needle Stimulation

A form of acupuncture that involves hooking up a mild electrical current to the acupuncture needles. These electrical pulses may be used to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue to enhance the therapeutic effects of the treatment, including decreasing inflammation and decreasing pain.

Alternative Medicine Supplies

Moxibustion

Heat Therapy

Moxibustion, aka "moxa" is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy that involves burning dried mugwort to warm acupuncture points on the body. This is used to promote circulation, alleviate pain, and restore health. Due to smoke let off during the traditional burning, use of the premio Moxa 10 will be used. It uses an infrared emitter that has equivalent emission spectrum to burning traditional herbal moxa.
